Birthmarks
Not always visible at first
Statistically one in ten children is born with a vascular birthmark, one caused by a concentration of broken surface veins, whilst three in a thousand are born with what is often called a port-wine stain, a euphemism for what can be a cruel blow, especially when easily visible, such as on the face.
the Bournville Surgery specialises in overcoming this problem. Using cosmetic laser surgery we work with the patient, sometimes over a number of visits, to remove birthmarks, helping to restore confidence and rebuild lives.
